UK CONDOLES NIGERIA


The British Government has expressed condolences to the Nigerian Government following a police surveillance helicopter crash in Rukuba a suburb of Jos that saw four lives lost amongst them the Deputy Inspector General of Police Haruna John.
 
Speaking to our correspondent Rotimi Michael the British High Commissioner to Nigeria Andrew Llyod says the tragic loss has dealt a huge blow to Nigeria in the fight against terrorism.
 
 
Recently one Briton Chris Mcmanus and an Italian Franco Lamolinarawas killed by Boko Haram sects in Kebbi State after a failed rescue bid which further question Nigeria’s security operatives.
 
The British Government has also promise to help Nigeria with technical assistance to fight the menace of Boko Haram and kidnappings.
