GOV ORJI DONATES MORE REFUSE TRUCKS TO ASEPA


IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE SUSTENANCE OF THE CLEANINESS OF THE STATE, ABIA STATE GOVERNMENT SAYS IT WILL CONTINUE TO PROCURE MORE REFUSE DISPOSAL TRUCKS UNTIL ALL THE SEVENTEEN LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCILS GET THEIRS.
 
GOVERNOR THEODORE ORJI STATED THIS WHILE PRESENTING THREE MORE NEW TRUCKS TO THE STATE ENVIRONMAENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY(ASEPA), AT THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE IN UMUAHIA.
 
HE SAID HIS GOVERNMENT WILL PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE TRUCK EVERY MONTH TO COVER ALL THE AREAS IN THE STATE.
 
RECEIVING THE KEYS TO THE VEHICLES, GENERAL MANAGER OF ASEPA, COSMOS NDUKWE THANKED THE GOVERNOR FOR HIS EFFORT IN THE SANITATION OF THE STATE.
 
HE OBSERVED THAT JOBS WOULD BE CREATED FOR THE UNEMPLOYED WHEN ALL THE COUNCILS HAVE FUNCTIONAL DUMPSITES.
