The Arewa Consultative
Forum has accused the military and other security operatives of complicity in
the activities of the Boko Haram group in the North-East.
The ACF in a communiqué by
its Secretary-General, Colonel John Ubah believed that the activities of the
insurgents were boosted by the cooperation and support from within the military
and security agents, which had enhanced the capabilities of the terrorists.
The pan northern
socio-political organisation urged the government to carry out an in-house
search of its security apparatus and put in place measures that would boost the
morale of the troops deployed to fight the insurgents and instill confidence in
the people.
