Former Governor of Ekiti
State, Chief State, Chief Segun Oni has defected to the All Progressives
Congress, APC.
Chief ONI, was removed as
a PDP Governor by the Court of Appeal which ordered the swearing in of the
incumbent governor, Doctor Kayode Fayemi of the APC.
He said he dumped the PDP
to help Doctor Fayemi win a second term in office.
According to Chief Oni, a
former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP in the South West, Doctor Fayemi is
the best option for the state in the June twenty one governorship election.
Governor Fayemi in his reaction described Chief
Oni’s defection as a home coming.
