The Governor of Borno
state, Kashim Shettima has declared three days of fasting and prayers to seek
divine intervention to free the abducted school girls.
He urged both Christians
and Muslims to participate in the three-day fast.
Governor Shettima thanked
the international community for the concern shown over the abduction of the
girls in Chibok by Boko Haram.
