The International Women
Judges Association has condemned the recent abduction of school girls in
Nigeria.
The group described the
action by Boko Haram as barbaric.
International Criminal
Court prosecutor Fatou Bensouda said the troubling phenomenon of targeting
females during conflict must be stopped.
She called for concerted
efforts to bring those responsible for such acts to justice either in Nigeria
or at the ICC.
