Angry Nigerian Soldiers Opens Fire On Their Commander

Angry soldiers have opened fire on their Commander, Major General Ahmed Mohammed as he was entering the Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.

The soldiers blamed him for the killing of their colleagues in an ambush by suspected Boko Haram militants

No one was injured in the incident.

The Director of Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade confirmed that an incident had taken place in Maiduguri, but said it was an internal matter and there was no reason for public concern.
