As Rivers
state and its neighbor, Bayelsa, continue to lay claim over some disputed
communities in he region, lawmakers from both states have called for calm.
Two of the
lawmakers, who spoke to National Assembly correspondents in Abuja, called for
cessation of current hostilities between both states while efforts are made to
resolve the dispute.
