UNILAG Organizes 1st Memorial Lecture For Late Vice - Chancellor

The Federal Government and relevant agencies have been urged to develop Nigeria’s indigenous technology sector as a means of tackling the huge outflow of foreign exchange in the importation of information technology equipment.

According to Ibidapo Obe, who made the call at the first annual memorial lecture of the late Vice – Chancellor of University of Lagos Professor Adetokunbo Sofolowe used the occasion to advise politicians  to deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians instead of  campaigning for 2015 elections.

The Vice – Chancellor of the University of Lagos Rahaon Bello described the late VC as a man who left huge legacy in the University community and would be missed by staff and students.
