Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice
Aloma Mukthar, has tasked Judicial officers in the country to join the current
effort at achieving quick dispensation of justice.
The CJN, who threw the challenge while swearing in
the new Acting Chief Judge of the FCT court, Justice Ibrahim Bukar, at the
Supreme Court today, enjoined judges and other judicial officers to work
towards making access to justice easier for Nigerians.
She also enjoined Justice Bukar to lead the FCT
court by example.
President Goodluck Jonathan appointed
Justice Ibrahim BUkar as Acting Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal
Capital Territory, Abuja following the voluntary retirement from service of
Justice Lawal Gummi.
