Misunderstanding is now looming among
members of the Action Congress of Nigeria in Ogun State as the meeting of the
chairmen of the party across the state could not hold at the party secretariat.
The
leaders of the party in Ogun State had endorsed Amosun as the flag bearer
of the party in the 2015 Governorship election while other senatorial districts
in the state agreed to follow suite.
The
chairmen of the party in the 20 local government areas in Ogun State who
were to meet at the party secretariat to ratify the outcome of the
senatorial decision met at a private conference room where they announced
their decision to adopt Amosun for second term.
The
chairmen could not but support Senator Amosun because they noted his skills at
infrastructural development and provision of shelter for the citizens.
They
also agreed that it had become custom of the State for governors to return for
second term.
