The Legal
Practitioners' Privileges Committee has approved the appointment of seventeen
lawyers as Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
This
year only one academic, Prof Lawrence Atsegbua of the Faculty of Law,
University of Benin, made the list.
No
date has been fixed for their swearing in at the Supreme Court.
