Hundreds
of protesting Civil Society members, under the aegis of the Anti Corruption
Network, say they are opposed to the planned policy by the CBN because of
the adverse effect it will have on the Nigerian economy.
Former
member of the House of representatives, Dino Meyale, who led the protest,
accused the CBN of trying to execute a negative agenda aimed at weakening the
naira and destroying the economy.
The
protesters say they will keep the pressure on with its campaign against the CBN
policy till it was reversed.
