President Goodluck Jonathan says it is important for.more biographies,
autobiographies and historical accounts to be written by Nigeria authors to
showcase the success stories of role models and inspire generations
of Nigeria to replicate their success
The President spoke on Saturday in Abuja at a book launch to mark the
77th birthday of the National Chair the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bamanga
Tukur
This full hall is gathered to celebrate a man who has achieved success
both within and outside politics and can be described as a role.model other
successful people are trying to emulate
President Jonathan identifying with Alhaji Tukur's huge success says the
man is in a position to mentor the nation's leaders
And that is why he says more biographies are needed in the country to
inspire generations of Nigerians about the importance of hard work in attaining
success
It is the same for everyone at this occasion, lavish praise
The man being celebrated preempts the critics, this occasion he says is
not solely about being Chairman of the PDP
The moot point to note amid the
celebrations has been by the President, who believes more success stories
should be showcased to counter the stifling skepticism that has pervaded
society that no good can come from Nigeria
