Three armed robbery suspects are now in the custody of the
Special task force, operation safe haven in Plateau state following the
snatching of a car at gun point along British America Junction in Jos North
Local government area.
Media
and information officer of the special task force, Captain Salisu Mustapha told
our Correspondents that the Peugeot 206 salon car was recovered following the
quick intervention of men of the task force who were manning the check points
along the routes.
He
said the suspects will be handed over to the police, after preliminary
investigation has been concluded
The
owner of the car who is personnel of the Nigeria security and civil defense
corps, while narrating how the car was snatched from him, explained that the
men appeared to need some help which he offered without suspecting that they
were armed robbers.
