President Jonathan Sacks Joy Emordi And Tunji Bello As Special Advisers

President Jonathan has sacked his Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Joy Emordi.

Also sacked was the Special Adviser on the New Partnership for Africa’s Development, NEPAD, Doctor Tunji Olagunju.

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Doctor Reuben Abati who announced their sack in a statement did not give any reason for the President’s decision.

However, our correspondent reports that the relationship between the President and the National Assembly has not been cordial resulting in speculation that the Presidency is pushing for the removal of Senate President, David Mark and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal.
