PDP Threatens To Sanctions Erring Members

The leadership of the Peoples' Democratic Party has threatened to wield the big stick against any elected member of the party that identifies with the Atiku Abubakar splinter group.

National Chairman of the party, Bamanga Tukur, who announced this in Abuja, called of security agencies to threat members of the splinter group as impostors.

Tukur, who acknowledged current crisis in the party insist that there is still only one PDP.

The party, he claimed, has only one duly elected National Executive Committee (NEC) under his leadership.

The party, he says, is the sole custodian of the sacred mandate of over 160 million Nigerians and will not fold its arms while those he described as undemocratic and unpatriotic elements destroy the country's common destiny by causing divisions and confusion among the people.
