A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Mike Ozekhome Who
regained his freedom yesterday three weeks after he was abducted in Edo State
has appealed to the Federal Government to grant amnesty to kidnappers in the
country.
Ozekhome who made the call while recounting his ordeal to
newsmen at his residence in Lagos said the kidnappers also abducted his son and
a lawyer in his chambers while negotiating his release.
He said he and twelve others were released yesterday morning,
adding that he was not aware if any ransom was paid to secure his freedom.
Ozekhome described his abductors as angry and desperate and
well-read read graduates who have a network of cells across the country.
