Miss Philippines, Megan Young, has won this year’s Miss World Pageant on
the Indonesian island of Bali.
The US-born Young, beat one hundred and twenty other contestants to win
the coveted trophy.
Miss France, Marine Lorphelin, came second while Miss Ghana, Carranzar
Naa Okailey Shooter, took the third place.
The competition was moved to Bali from the capital Jakarta, because of
protests from hardline Muslim group.
