As Muslims
continues the celebration of Eid-El-Fitri today, Islamic clerics urged them to
hold strongly to the lessons they learnt from the Ramadan fast.
The clerics
advised adherents not to go back what they abstained from during the fasting
period.
The Executive
Director, Zakat and Fadaqat Foundation, Shuaib Abdullahi, urged Muslims
faithful to remain sober during and after the festival.
Also, the Lagos
State Missioner, Nawarudeen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Mojeed Ayinla, urged
Muslims to pray for peace in Nigeria.
The Chief Imam
of Lagos Mainland Central Mosque, Alhaji Thabit Lawal also advised Muslims not
to be merry-making during the festival.
