The Local Government
Congress of the All Progressive Congress has been marred by violence in parts
of Lagos State.
Reports said the elective
congress witnessed a large turnout of APC members at all the council areas
including Alimosho, Mushin, Bariga and Coker-Aguda.
Unconfirmed reports said
at least two people were killed in Sanya Grammar School, the venue of the
congress for Coker-Aguda Local Council Development Area.
Several others were also
seriously injured in the violence that ensued between supporters of APC leaders
at the venue.
