A meeting between
President Goodluck Jonathan, the Service Chiefs and the thirty six state
governors earlier scheduled to hold today has been shifted to tomorrow.
A statement by the
Presidency explained that the meeting was postponed because it coincided with
the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
However, some analyst wondered
whether those who fixed the meeting for today didn’t know about the weekly FEC
meeting.
It might interest you to
know that the All Progressives Congress postponed its state congresses to
enable it governors attend the meeting to discuss the current challenges facing
