The police have deployed
four units of mobile police to tackle the communal crisis in Benue State.
The Inspector-General of
Police, Mohammed Abubakar announced this shortly before going into a closed
door meeting with Assistant Inspectors-General of Police in Abuja.
He said difficult terrain,
lack of information due to network problem and lack of police presence in some
areas were some of the challenges faced in tackling the crisis.
