President Goodluck Jonathan has said
that the nation’s armed forces are gradually reversing the negative trend of
insurgency in the states currently under emergency rule.
President Jonathan stated this in Abuja at the
2013 Democracy Day Interdenominational Church service.
President Jonathan who was represented at the
occasion by the Senate President, Senator David Mark also said that inspite of
the insurgency and challenges’ facing the country, Nigeria economy is growing
faster than any country in Africa.
