UNIPORT Replaces HOD for Joining Protest On The Aluu Killing.

 The University of Port Harcourt has replaced the Head of Department of Philosophy of the university DR. ANDREW EFEMINI for participating in a protest against the killing of four Uniport students.

Meanwhile, Human rights groups in Rivers State have already condemned the decision of the University of Port Harcourt.

 When contacted the Public Relations Officer of the University of Port Harcourt DR. WILLIAM WORDI said the university’s law allows the Vice Chancellor to choose and replace Heads of Department.

 He also said the Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt Professor Joseph Ajienka followed due process in the removal of DR. ANDREW EFEMINI as a Head of Department in the Department of Philosophy.
