The Delta State House of Assembly has
passed into law the 2013 Appropriation Bill with a total sum of N472,
006,772,170.
The bill was passed during the sitting
session of the house, which was led by the Speaker, Mr Victor Ochei.
The report of the committee on Finance and
Appropriation, presented by its Chairman, Mr Daniel Mayuku,
and accepted by the house members has N157, 603,782,607 as recurrent
expenditure, while N314, 402,989,563 as capital expenditure.
The State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan had
proposed the sum of N398.31 billion to the house on the 14th of
December, 2012.
