Abduction: Police Arrest Four Suspected Kidnappers Of Gen Rotimi’s Wife



Four persons have been arrested by the Oyo state police kidnap over last years' abduction of Titilayo, the wife of the former military governor of the defunct Western region, General Oluwole Rotimi

Police chief, Mbu John Mbu who dropped the hint added that the command has widened its dragnet to arrest other suspects.

Titilayo was abducted on December 10, last year at the frontage her Oak company premises along Alakia area of Ibadan in the presence of her driver.

She was released ten days after at Ijebu Ode by her abductors. She was later flown abroad for medical check up.

The police chief however stated that all her employees and other manner of people arrested in connection with the kidnap saga have all been released.

He revealed that one of the suspects is a former employer of the wife of the former military governor, assuring that they will soon be charged to court.

Mbu added that the kidnap suspects were arrested at a location in Ogun state and maintained that the command will ensure that such incident never happened in the state again.
