The Revenue mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal
commission says it will continue to pay revenue from Soku to Bayelsa
state, despite protest from Kalabari National Forum.
The chairman of the commission Engr. Alias Mbah said their position was informed by the supreme court judgment of July 12 this year, and the Presidential committee on the verification of oil wells of December 2000.
The Commission also acknowledged receipt of a protest from Bayelsa state over some oil wells and has set up an inter-agency committee to look into the matter.
