The Senate has pledged
its legislative support for the Presidential Advisory Committee on the proposed
National Conference headed by Senator Femi Okunronmu.
The Deputy Senate
President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu stated this when he received the Committee at
the National Assembly complex in Abuja.
Senator Ekweremadu
commended the Federal Government for providing Nigerians with the opportunity
to discuss about their future and Nigeria as a nation.
The Chairman of the
Presidential Advisory Committee on National Conference, Senator Femi Okunronmu
identified the National Assembly as a critical stakeholder on Nigeria nation.
