The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS zone ‘B’ has issued a seven days ultimatum to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to call off the ongoing strike or face confrontation.
The NANS zone B
financial secretary and the leader in Abia state, Comrade Eluwah Miracle said
that the students are tired of staying at home as a result of the strike which
has led many students into different vices.
Eluwah accused the
members of ASUU of being selfish in their demands from the federal government
which has no basis on the conditions in the different universities across the
country, saying that they are being economical with the truth.
