The senate president of
National Association of Nigeria students(NANS), Donald Onukogu and four
other executive members have died in a ghastly motor accident on their way to
Uyo Akwa Ibom state.
The
accident occurred late morning on thursday in Ikwuano Local government area of
Abia state leaving several others injured.
The
bus that was conveying them to Uyo collided with a lorry and reulted to a
multiple deaths.
Although
they were immediately rushed to the Federal Medical centre in Umuahia, some of
them already died at the spot.
Their trip to Uyo might not be unconnected with the
present crisis rocking the university of Uyo.
