The Senate today held a special
valedictory session in hounour of late Senator Gyang Dantong who was killed
recently in an attack in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Senators took turn to pay tribute to late Dantong who was described as a man of peace who contributed immensely to the development of the legislature right from the House of Representatives and the Senate.
A cross section of speakers at the event also harpped on the need to find lasting solution to the problem in the Plateau as a way of honouring late Dantong.
