AKALA, LADOJA AND I ARE BACK TOGETHER-AKINJIDE

The Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief (Ms) Olajumoke Akinjide, has said that former governor of the State Senator Rashidi Ladoja and his enstranged deputy governor Adebayo Alao-Akala have closed ranks.

Akinjide made the disclosure when she empowered members of the Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with N10 million, 6 new tractors accompanied by full implements, about 100 refrigerators and hundreds of pumping machines as part of her poverty alleviation programme.

The 10million naira which was the cumulative allowances accrued to her owing to her status as minister of state in the last one year is to be deployed as a revolving micro-credit loan for PDP members in the 33 councils in state, while the tractors were distributed two each, to the three senatorial districts for the use of farmers

According to her, all is set for Ladoja’s return to the umbrella party adding that those sowing apple of discord have been exposed

She noted that dissidents in the party have written several petitions to the president to remove her from the post saying the president is not interest in petty unproductive politics

Speaking at the event, former governor Alao-Akala, who was represented at the ceremony by Mr Matthew Akintola, said he was ready to make any sacrifice to achieve a united Oyo PDP to return the party to winning ways
