OKOTIE CONDEMNS JOS KILLINGS


The Chairman of the Fresh Democratic Party, FRESH, Rev Chris Okotie has condemned the weekend attack in Jos, in which SenatorGyang Dantong and the majority Leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly,Gyang Fulani were killed along with many others. “This brazen assault is unacceptable and we can no longer tolerate it,” he added.

Rev Okotie sent his condolences to the bereaved and warned that the Federal Government must do something urgent about the incessant attacks on innocent citizens in the north before it gets out of hand.

In another development, Okotie’s spokesman, Ladi Ayodeji has urged the public to ignore comments credited to the Pastor in a section of the media concerning his recent separation from his wife, Stephanie.

 “Rev Okotie has not made any comment on the issue since his announcement to his Household of God congregation on Sunday, June 24, 2012. We appeal to the public to ignore all the rumours being peddled in the press,” he added.
