NAFDAC has
threatened to arrest those making claims that they have a cure for the virus.
The Director General of
the agency, Doctor Paul Orhii who gave the warning in Lagos said Ebola virus
has no known cure for now.
Incidentally, a former
Chairman of INEC, Professor Maurice Iwu, who reportedly claimed that bitter
kola can cure Ebola is a member of the Federal Government’s Treatment Research
Group.
