President Jonathan has
approved the release of fifty million naira to the Nigerian Supporters Club to
enable them prepare adequately to cheer the Super Eagles during this year’s
World Cup in Brazil.
The President announced
this after he was decorated as the Grand Patron of the club at the Presidential
Villa, Abuja.
He promised to continue to
support all sports in the country.
President-General of the Nigerian Supporters Club Worldwide, Doctor Rafiu Ladipo said they plan to storm Brazil with at least one thousand members to cheer the Super Eagles.
