President Goodluck Jonathan has dropped four ministers from his cabinet.
They are the embattled
Minister of Aviation Stella Oduah, the Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade,
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe and the Minister of State for
Finance, Yerima Ngama.
Three of the affected
ministers are said to have governorship ambition in their various states.
But Stella Odua may have
been sacked over the controversial purchase of two bullet-proof vehicles worth
two hundred and fifty five million naira.
The Minister of
Information, Labaran Maku announced that President Jonathan has assigned
Minister of State FCT, Jumoke Akinjide as Supervising Minister of Police
Affairs, Samuel Ortom as Supervising Minister for Aviation and Darius Ishaka as
Supervising Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
