The Lagos State University,
LASU, has withdrawn from the Nigerian University Games to be hosted by the
Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife.
The institution’s director
of sports, Clement Fasan said the withdrawal was due to the recent students
protest over increase in tuition fees.
