Former vice president Atiku Abubakar has said that the APC leadership is committed to building a strong and
united party.
He made the declaration
when he paid a courtesy call on Governor Aliyu Wammako of Sokoto State.
The former vice President
disclosed that they are all willing to set aside their individual ambitions so
as to build a formidable APC, stressing that over eighty percent of his
political supporters are in support of his defection to the party.
Responding, Governor Wammako
advised Northern leaders against undue scramble for the presidency which cost
the region the position in twenty eleven.
He urged them to drop
their personal ambitions and work as one to clinch the presidency in twenty
fifteen.
