National Tragedy: Kogi State To Spend 79 Billion As Recurrent Expenditure While 14 Billion Naira Is For Capital Expenditure


Governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada has signed the state’s twenty fourteen budget of one hundred and twenty-eight billion naira into law.

A statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Jacob Edi said the brief ceremony was attended by the state deputy governor, Speaker of the State House of Assembly and other top government functionaries.

The statement quoted the governor as saying that the budget would usher in massive project execution that will uplift the standard of living of the people.


The budget has seventy nine billion naira as recurrent expenditure while the balance of fourteen billion naira is for capital expenditure.
