Governor Adams Oshiomhole
of Edo State has signed into law the state’s 2014 Appropriation Bill of N160
Billion as approved by the State House of Assembly.
Speaking
shortly after assenting to the Bill, Comrade Oshiomhole said Government will do
its best to implement the budget as quickly as possible.
He
said: “under your leadership, Edo State Government has made progress in the
area of infrastructure and the delivery of social services and providing good
governance to the people. I have had several opportunities to remind the people
of Edo State that but for the support of the House, the Executive would not
have been able to carry out any project that we have been able to execute in
all sectors of our economy.
