100 Nigerians Languishing In Moroccans Prisons For Petty Offences


No fewer than one hundred Nigerians are currently languishing in prisons in Morocco.

Nigeria’s ambassador to Morocco, Abdallah Wali told newsmen in Sokoto that most of them were being held for offences relating to illegal migration, drugs and petty crimes.


He said currently there is no existing protocol between Nigeria and Morocco regarding repatriation of prisoners.
