hours after the release of the just concluded local council polls in the
capital territory, the FCT Minister Senator Bala Mohammed has blamed the
apathy association with the election on general fear of insecurity in the
country.
The Minister who said the low voters turn is a huge challenge that must checked during future polls however commended the entire residents of FCT, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agents for the peaceful conduct of the local Council elections.
Reviewing the election a day after while speaking with newsmen
on Sunday, the Minister hailed the orderly conduct of the voters, polling officials, the traditional rulers, religious leaders and civil society organizations

Senator Mohammed enjoined the FCT electorate to keep on with the same high spirit during future elections and to always turn out in larger numbers to exercise their civic right.
