TWO NEW PDP LEGISLATORS DECAMP TO APGA

Two newly sworn in members of the Anambra state house of assembly have decamped from the PDP to the All progressives Grand Alliance, APGA shortly after taking their oath of office today.
The two members, Honourable John Olibie of Dunukofia state constituency and Honourable Pally Onyeka of Ekwusigo state constituency were among the five PDP members who were not able to assume their seats in the house following litigation over the authentic candidates of the party in the April 2011 general elections.
Others who also took the oath of office are Honourable Vivian Okadigbo of Oyi state constituency, Honourable Rebecca Udoji of Awka North state constituency and Honourable Chris Obinna of Anambra east state constituency.
Performing the inauguration in plenary, the speaker, Right Honourable Chinwe Nwaebili urged the new members to work as a team as well as offer quality legislation.
