David Mark brought stability to the Senate says Abatemi-Usman


Vice Chairman of Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman has hailed the Senate President, David Mark on his 64th birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Michael Jegede to congratulate the Senate President, the Senator noted that Mark has demonstrated to a large extent his political skill and ability in the coordination of the affairs of the highest legislative body in the country.
Describing him as a man of history and honour, Abatemi-Usman, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), added that the Senate Presidentdeserves to be commended by all and sundry for the stability he has brought to stay in the Upper Chamber in the last five years.
The statement quoted the Senator as saying that, “I congratulate the Senate President, David Mark. His sterling leadership quality has provided an essential stabilising force in the Red Chamber and has greatly helped to deepen and strengthen our democracy. His wisdom, fairness and dedication to duty have earned the respect and confidence of all of us his colleagues and the nation at large. I, my family and the good people of Kogi Central Senatorial District, wish him many more years of fruitful service to his fatherland.”
