BEWARE OF OBASANJO-OYO ACN WARNS LADOJA

The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Oyo State has warned the Accord Party leader and former governor of the state, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, to beware of former President Olusegun Obasanjo

The party noted that Senator Ladoja would need mother luck to come out any alliance with the former President unhurt.

The party said this in a release signed by its Publicity Secretary, Hon Dauda Kolawole.

According to the party, the visit of the former president to Senator Ladoja is an ill-wind that could only lead to disaster for the former governor if he abandons a party he helped build and join a party whose runners were traditional vipers, scorpions and those who have ran Nigeria aground for decades.

The ACN drew Ladoja’s attention to the fact that the same Obasanjo who had now seen him as a worthy bride was the same person who allegedly supervised and choreographed his illegal impeachment as governor and supplanted him with his deputy whom the ACN said was “a total antithesis of and indeed destroyed all that Senator Ladoja stands for in politics.”

While warning Ladoja to remember the Jamaican reggae star, Bob Marley’s admonition that it is better to live in a house of peace with you at the top than to live in a house full of confusion, the ACN admonished Ladoja to sleep and hear what his pillow tells him at night.

While urging the Accord Party leader to cooperate with the Oyo State government in changing the state, the ACN concluded that it was sure that, being a very deep thinker, Ladoja would know that any association or promise from Obasanjo can only be temporary and selfish as abandoning his teeming supporters for the PDP was akin to committing political suicide.
