As reactions continue to trail the death of the former ASUU President, Professor Festus Iyayi, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has urged the Inspector General of Police to commence immediate investigation into the auto crash which led to death of the university Don.
The NLC
President, Comrade Abdulwaheed Umar who spoke with STV news in Abuja said the
former Asuu boss died when his wealth of experience was needed most within the
labour movement.
The NLC
President said the congress would petition the Inspector General of Police and
the National Human Rights Commission to investigate the vehicular accident
allegedly caused by the convoy of the Kogi State Governor.
