Rivers State Governor, Chibuike
Amaechi has dissolved the leadership of Obio-Akpor local Government Council.
A statement signed
yesterday by the secretary to the Rivers state government George Feyii said the
dissolution notice is in exercise of the powers conferred on the governor by
the state local government law twenty twelve.
The governor directed the
council chairman Timothy Nsirim to handover to the Head of Personnel Management
of the council with immediate effect.
