Authorities of the Ibadan have withdrawn 75 students in their 100 level for failure to meet minimum academic requirement.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Isaac
Adewole stated this today at the matriculation ceremony of the institution
where 2,671 took oath at the events.
He warned the newly admitted to take their
academic seriously adding that 41,365 applied for the admission of UI out of
which less than 3,000 were offered admission
He charged the new students to strive for academic
excellence to enter the roll of honour of the institution.
