Interim Government Is Illegal - FG

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke says there is no provision for interim national government in the nation’s constitution.

The Minister stated this in a statement in reaction to calls by some Nigerians for an interim national government.

He said framers of the nineteen ninety nine constitution did not envisage the establishment of an Interim National Government to pilot the affairs of the nation.
